ASUS RT-N56U Manual
ASUS RT-N56U Dual-band capability allows you to increase both wireless performance and bandwidth from 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz to 300 Mbits simultaneously. While simple Internet applications such as browsing or file downloads run in a frequency range of 2.4 GHz, HD content can be streamed simultaneously in a frequency range of 5 GHz. In this way, each application achieves optimal speed and HD content can be streamed without delay. The ASUS RT-N56U router is equipped with a powerful hardware NAT acceleration engine and integrated Gigabit Ethernet. In this way, the router offers full Gigabit Internet performance, so that the throughput from WAN to LAN is up to 2-5 times greater than with conventional software-based NAT Gigabit routers.
The ASUSWRT dashboard interface allows users to set up ASUS RT-N56U, monitor and control network applications from a single intuitive interface. The graphical user interface not only allows the administration of clients and settings but also offers an update option with just a single click. The five internal antennas inside the RT-N56U1 provide the user with an optimal and stable WLAN signal. The unique ASUS AiRadar technology significantly increases wireless signal coverage and signal quality without increasing power consumption. It intelligently adapts signal transmission to local conditions in order to emulate a directional signal with high power. AiRadar influences the signals to provide the best possible output. It converts relatively weak omnidirectional signals into stronger unidirectional signals and improves throughput at the same time.
